Nursing's Dr. Marsha Campbell‑Yeo honoured with REAL Award

Dr. Marsha Campbell-Yeo has been selected as a REAL Awards honoree for 2014 as a Nurse Practitioner. The REAL Awards were created by Save the Children and the Frontline Health Workers Coalition to develop greater respect and appreciation for health workers and the lifesaving care they provide globally. Each year, they select a class of honorees from hundreds of nominations to be recognized for their own work and to serve as the faces of health workers everywhere who are going above and beyond the call of duty for families and children. Dr. Campbell-Yeo is the only Canadian to be honoured this year. She is being honoured for her work as a neonatal nurse practitioner at Dalhousie and the IWK.
