The MOM-LINC lab provides an interdisciplinary research environment for the development of innovative and non-invasive healthcare interventions that engage mothers and families in the management and care of neonates.
Numerous multifaceted research projects are conducted within the MOM-LINC Lab, including:
Research on pain and parental presence in infants
Chez NICU Home project which focuses on examining interventions primarily parent led, to reduce pain and stress and also improve near behavioral outcomes in “at risk” infants
Discovery of novel approaches to uptake best evidence into clinical practice
Breast feeding and neuroimaging in the health of full term infants
